It all happens so fast. Watching them grow before your eyes, blinking and worrying you’ll miss it. You know the saying “the days are long, but the years are short”?
One day you'll be left with only the memory of a sink full of dishes and your kids' sticky hands twirling in your hair while you cradle them in your arms. Your sheets will no longer hold crumbs and sand and everyones’ tangled limbs.
You'll give anything to be transported back to this time when you were your little humans' whole world. When no safer place existed for them then your hug.
Years from now you'll want to remember this time in your life, just as it is.

Clients are drawn to my effortless, relaxed posing and the perfect amount of fun in my images. Family sessions combine my playful manner with magical use of light to create images of your family that you will adore for years to come.
I always include a couple of smiling photos for grandma's fridge, and then for most of time we just hang and play, creating lots of time for my signature connected candids.

LET'S HANG OUT.
Best news? You don’t have to worry about managing your kids at ALL during the shoot. That’s my job! (and I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve.) Your job is to show up ready to love on your best people. Plus, it actually works better if you let me do the worrying–I count on kids to give me their natural selves, and they can’t do that as well with mom + dad trying to strong arm them into following absolutely everything I say. Pressure’s off.

“With all the things my wife had to do while she was pregnant and how tiring it is at the end, I took on finding a newborn photographer. I was a little worried about it because photos are really important to my wife. I looked at what feels like every newborn photographer in the Twin cities website to find what I knew she was looking for. She didn’t want novelty shots; she wanted candid shots that really looked like us and captured how much we love our little guy.
