The First Year Collective is perfect for those wanting to document all the changes that happen in your baby's first year of life. This is the best way to get on my calendar and capture all of those first year milestones that go by way too fast.
This price includes three sessions(two short sessions and one full session) - your choice between:

LET'S HANG OUT.
Best news? You don’t have to worry about managing your kids at ALL during the shoot. That’s my job! (and I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve.) Your job is to show up ready to love on your best people. Plus, it actually works better if you let me do the worrying–I count on kids to give me their natural selves, and they can’t do that as well with mom + dad trying to strong arm them into following absolutely everything I say. Pressure’s off.

I'm big on over communicating. From initial inquiry on, you will immediately notice one thing about me- I always follow up. So, be prepared to hear back from me within 24 hours or less.

I know how stressful it can be planning outfits for the whole family. But for me, it's fun! I have a lot of resources to help you make your decisions, client wardrobe options for moms and kiddos to borrow, and can always suggest links for direct purchase. Style and colors are EVERYTHING and I am here to make your vision come to life
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
YES! I understand that family photos are a luxury and I truly believe everyone should have the opportunity to own beautiful photos and art work but budgets (especially these days) can be tight. I am more than happy to split payments into smaller portions into equal 1/3's or 1/4's, whichever is easier for you!
As far out as possible! Especially for newborns, my schedule can fill up quickly.
how far in advance should we book?
WHAT DOES ADDING A ROLL OF FILM MEAN?
If you add on a roll of film it means I will shoot both digital (on my digital camera) and film (on my film camera)! Film is just a different medium, and it renders a nostalgic, imperfect vibe that I love, so I love getting to add it in! It's something that is much harder to do than digital photography, and not a lot of photographer's can shoot film anymore, so it's kind of just a special bonus. I don't even bother stressing about the weather unless it is 24-48 hours in advance because Minnesota weather is wild and ALWAYS changes. If it isn't looking great day of, we will keep an eye on it and make a call. We will work together and find a date to reschedule, I would never charge for this!

“With all the things my wife had to do while she was pregnant and how tiring it is at the end, I took on finding a newborn photographer. I was a little worried about it because photos are really important to my wife. I looked at what feels like every newborn photographer in the Twin cities website to find what I knew she was looking for. She didn’t want novelty shots; she wanted candid shots that really looked like us and captured how much we love our little guy.
Having Brittany take photos of our newborn was fantastic. She was very flexible with our needs in the first weeks of being parents and moved around our session to accommodate them.
